I love my clients, each and every one of them, but now that there are over a hundred that I am working for, it simply isn’t viable for me to be on the phone to them.
While I’m on the phone to you I’m not doing the work you pay me to, so support is kept to email, Skype text chat and Twitter / Facebook.
That’s not to say you can’t get me on the phone, just that the other ways will be quicker, get an immediate response (usually) and keep everything in writing so we have a ‘paper trail’.
I do realise this sounds arrogant, but there are only so many hours in the day, and I would rather be doing the work you’ve paid me to do, than chatting on the phone about it unless absolutely necessary.
Leigh, Shaun and Helen are usually available on the phone and can relay messages to me, but if you require a long phone call to discuss details of an ongoing job, then it will need to be booked in advance, sorry!
