Although I’m not beating any drums, I do like to work with other women in business, so when SavvyWoman’s Sarah Pennels approached me to help her out with her Facebook Fan Page, I was thrilled.

SavvyWoman is the brainchild of Sarah Pennells, who’s a well known personal finance journalist and broadcaster. Sarah has appeared regularly on BBC Saturday Breakfast and writes for several magazines.

SavvyWoman’s aim is straightforward: to help women everywhere get more from their money. The blog, Twitter account and facebook page are aimed at helping women make the most of their money in a variety of ways.

final a5I read a lot, but if you had told me a few weeks ago that I’d be entranced by a book aimed at young adults about Muddle Earth and a bunch of animals and people who aren’t quite what they seem, I would have said you were mad!

The The Muddles came into my life – strange little creatures who grow coffee, create disorder, and have lots of adventures alongside the Beadles and the Myrmidots.

Blue fire & Ice and Furnaces of Forge are great books for all ages really, written brilliantly by Alan Skinner and published by Sibling Press.

ydWe’re not ashamed to say that we didn’t even know this service existed until Ross of Young Driver training came to us for some Internet Marketing help, but we’re certainly glad we found out!

Young Driver help to teach underage kids how to drive a car, in a safe environment. So teenagers and kids as young as 11 and over 1.5m tall can climb into a car without a driving license, and legally learn to drive.

Now I don’t know about you, but it took me a LOOONNGG time to pass my driving test, and something like this would have been great to prepare me before being let out on the big scary road!
