I read a lot, but if you had told me a few weeks ago that I’d be entranced by a book aimed at young adults about Muddle Earth and a bunch of animals and people who aren’t quite what they seem, I would have said you were mad!
The The Muddles came into my life – strange little creatures who grow coffee, create disorder, and have lots of adventures alongside the Beadles and the Myrmidots.
Blue fire & Ice and Furnaces of Forge are great books for all ages really, written brilliantly by Alan Skinner and published by Sibling Press.
