Here at NikkiPilkington.com, we have a policy that we won’t take on more than 2 companies in the same industry, and even then not for the same services.
So if a company comes to us looking for higher Google listings, but we already have a client in the same industry looking at the same keyphrases, we have to say no – otherwise we’re just competing with ourselves, and where’s the honesty in that?

People say to me all the time: “But Nikki, YOU are your brand”, and to a certain extent that’s true. I’ve tried to work hard at being in the ‘right’ places, giving the ‘correct’ advice, and helping out. I want to be known as fair and helpful, I want people to trust me, and I want people to know that if I can’t help them, I’ll tell them.
It’s been a little while since I updated, but I think I have a good excuse
