Making your Facebook Fan Page look good with FMBL

Forgive me for a bit of a lazy post, but it’s been a long few days and I’m supposed to be winding down to have a baby (ha!) so writing for clients has taken precedence over my own blog unfortunately.

I’ve had quite a few emails over the last few weeks about some of our work on Facebook Fan Pages. One of the things we like to do is add FBML tabs to the page so that you can add newsletters, offers, welcome pages, links etc – here are some examples:

It’s not difficult to do, but you do have to either know HTML or have the HTML in order to do it.

Rather than spend ages typing up a whole FBML tutorial, I’ve decided to link to a few others that should help you – feel free to leave your FB Fan page address in the comments below so we can see the results of your handiwork!

  1. Love it. Can see a big use for this on my forthcoming project, set to change the world of communications.

    Thanks for the mental jog!

Absolutely bob-on as ever Nikki. FBML has been making me pull my hair out for some time now, so this’ll hopefully rejuice the engines a bit.

Always appreciate your tips Nikki. Didn’t know this was possible! Only recently started using a Facebook fan page as supplement to my Uckfield News website. Is very basic but one day …who knows?
