Keyword frequency relates to the number of times a keyword (or phrase) appears on a page.
Simply put, if your chosen keyphrase doesn’t appear on a page in your site, then you’re not likely to get good listings for it.
However, at the other end of the spectrum, if the keyphrase appears TOO many times, then you’re likely to get penalised for spamming.
They don’t make it easy do they?
I’d aim for making sure that the keyphrase is in the headline of the page and then two to three times in the body, as well as in any links to the page.
