In the same way that you use titles to great effect in your website, you can do this with your blog posts.

A good title will contain keywords for search engines and enough interest for readers to want to click on it and read the post.

Forget long, flowery titles with every keyword you can think of, think long term here.

Write a list of the keyphrases and words you are trying to target for your main website.

Now think about blog posts you could write around these.

Craft a short, punchy yet keyword rich title, and you’re laughing!

Examples could be:

- Carpet cleaning nightmares and how to fix them

- Choosing your chauffeur driven car

- Getting past the gatekeeper – cold calling tips

- Guaranteed higher Google listings – just a myth?

In each case I’ve made the keyphrase bold so you can see what I mean. These titles read well, and get the point across, but are also fodder for

Google.
